In The Answer Man, Jeff Daniels (Traitor) stars as the fictional author Arlen Faber, a cranky recluse who wrote a best-selling spirituality book titled Me and God twenty years earlier. His book inspired an entire generation with its insightful answers about his personal relationship with God.

The rehabilitation of a knee replacement is long and arduous. The surgically repaired leg cannot bend, lift or support weight. The muscles must be retained and strengthened. Scar tissue must be stretched. Destroyed nerves adversely affect balance. And time is an element. A patient has a window of 90 to 180 days to maximize the long-term outcomes. At the end of that time frame no further progress is possible. It is an intense few months.

Along this route from Cape Town, the first stop is usually Riviersonderend (River without End).
